Rock Symphonies is a collection of five symphonic works written between 2001 and 2018, of different characters and durations. The term Symphonies is used here not in the sense of Symphony as a musical form, but in its Greek, primordial sense, of sounds sounding simultaneously, and referring to orchestral tone colors. More unusual is the term Rock, which, in addition to being the title of the first work presented here, also refers to the popular universe of rock and roll, where energetic emotion, and not style, is wildly imposed on the listener.
